Covid-19 Updates
Sunday Worship
Due to reduced seating capacity because of COVID restrictions, our worship services are first come, first served. Once we reach 25% capacity we will not be able to accommodate more people.
9 am – Indoor Worship – Worship Center
- This is our more traditional style service.
- Masks must be worn while entering & exiting (as we cannot ensure social distancing during those times)
- Seating is reduced to less than 25% of capacity and seats are socially distanced in worship center.
- No Childcare Provided.
11 am – Indoor Worship – Worship Center
- This is our more contemporary style service.
- Masks must be worn while entering & exiting (as we cannot ensure social distancing during those times)
- Seating is reduced to less than 25% of capacity and seats are socially distanced in the worship center.
- CalvaryKids will be open for children ages birth to 5th grade.
Our 9:00am and 11am services will continue to be streamed LIVE on FACEBOOK at Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte
Sunday School
Currently, no classes are being offered indoor on-campus. Many of our Sunday School classes are meeting online (using Zoom) and some have resumed in-person meetings either outside at someone’s home or in a home where they are able to practice social distancing. If you would like to get connected to a Sunday School class near you, call 704-394-6181.
Wednesday Evenings
Starting Wednesday, March 24th on campus prayer meeting will resume. We will also continue to stream it LIVE on FACEBOOK at Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte. Service will start at 6:30pm.
*Wednesday night supper will start back April 7th. Food is served from 5:00-6:00pm.
Student Ministry

What is postponed/canceled?
Until further notice, the following activities are postponed:
- On campus Sunday School
- Choir Practice
- Meals cooked in the church kitchen (for any purpose)
- Special Events/ Usage of church bus or mini-bus
How long will this last?
We are unable to say exactly how long these measures will be necessary, but will use wisdom, caution, and the recommendations and guidelines of our local and state authorities. We will carefully and prayerfully review ALL policies every 14 days to update as necessary. Any class or group desiring to host an event that requires use of facilities will need office approval first and must follow very strict social distancing policies.
Things have changed and are changing so rapidly and your pastor and staff are working hard to plan ahead as things change. However, our God remains faithful and is never-changing! he is an ever-present help in these times of trouble. Let’s trust in Him, work together to encourage, strengthen, and protect one another. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
